"G'day! I'm the lead artist/co-founder of the project, so I can answer a few questions.

It is indeed quite a slow project to develop, it's technically complex, takes a lot of testing and iteration to get working the way we want it, and it's got a pretty large scope. Our team is 3 - 5 people plus some contractors and a great beta testing team, 3 of us put in full time hours, and for 2 of us it's our only job (Artist and Programmer, the producer also works as a Physicist!)

I can assure you there is no need to worry about it not ever being finished, we're in this one for the long haul, but it WILL take quite a long time.

We do always release bite sized chunks of the game as they are finished though, and now that we're doing reasonably well sales wise we can afford more outside help :)

Any other questions feel free to hit me up or pop over to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Awesome I'm glad they're still working on it since I bought it after the original post. Does need some work but looks like its going in the right direction.

Hey, I forgot to reply to Andrew in the previous thread due to being on a trip. I'm happy for you guys, being able to expand upon this game. I plunked down my $35 a day after Christmas, and have just begun my re-creation of Crosley as a car manufacturer.

My only wish for this game is that you do not allow people to merge engines, say, merging two Climax 1.5L V8 engines into an H16 abomination. Just a suggestion.

Just curious.

Why would you/we care if they allowed people to merge two engines?

Personal dislike of BRM products, including but not limited to their H16 joke.

I've got a blueprint of the 1950s BRM Supercharged V16 on my wall, It's the single most complicated engine I've ever seen...

Someone needed to explain to the fine folks at that organization that welding two engines together was a bad idea.

Annnnd you know what, they knew that and still did it again. I mean, at least Jackie Stewart and all...but I don't know. Anytime I see anything BRM related I fight the urge to drink and design.
